SHOP MECHANIC
We are currently looking for a knowledgeable, energetic, and reliable Shop Mechanic / Installation Technician to join our growing team. We believe this full-time role would be an excellent fit for someone with a strong mechanical background and a passion for quality installations and customer service.
Responsibilities:
Installing aftermarket vehicle and trailer parts such as trailer hitches, gooseneck and fifth-wheel hitches, suspension kits, truck bed covers, lighting and wiring, side steps, and custom wheels and tires.
Performing trailer repairs, off-road and recreational vehicle upgrades.
Performing major and general repairs using various power and manual tools.
Competently read and understand job orders, instruction sheets, and installation manuals to ensure all processes meet company and manufacturers standards.
Must be comfortable conveying vehicle and product information, as well as diagnostics, to team members, management, and customers with ease.
Other duties as requested.
Qualifications:
Experience with vehicle mechanical and electrical components.
Proficiency with power and manual tools.
Strong mathematical, reading, understanding, critical thinking and teamwork skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
The ability to stand, lift, and handle up to 50 pounds and comfortable working in various conditions.
Honesty, trustworthiness, and dependability with a good driving record.
A High School diploma or equivalent.
