Shop Mechanic / Installation Technician
We are looking for a highly skilled, industry-savvy Shop Mechanic / Installation Technician who is ready to hit the ground running. The right candidate will bring proven experience in the automotive aftermarket industry, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take ownership of their work from day one. This is not an entry-level role — we are looking for someone with industry knowledge, from vehicles to tools and products, and who can deliver exceptional results with minimal direction. Compensation is based on skills, experience, and proven performance.
Responsibilities:
Install aftermarket vehicle accessories, parts, and performance upgrades
Perform precision trailer repairs, upgrades, and custom modifications
Execute complex 4x4 off-road and recreational vehicle enhancements with confidence
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical and electrical issues efficiently
Communicate effectively with management, team members, and customers to ensure high-quality results
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Requirements:
Extensive experience in the automotive aftermarket and accessories industry
Expert knowledge of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems
Proficiency with manual and power tools, with attention to precision and detail
Ability to take initiative, work independently, and deliver results without hand-holding
Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to excellence
Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various conditions
High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience in a similar shop environment
Computer/tablet skills for diagnostics and documentation
